PEATLAND POST

Dear Reader,

we are pleased to invite you to come along on our journey to restored and protected peatlands. As a group of LIFE projects, we pooled our resources and created this newsletter to keep you up to date with the developments around peatland policy and our projects.

We hope that our articles are informative and inspiring, showcasing that within the peatland community, we are connected by a shared vision. We believe, that to fight the climate and biodiversity crises efficiently we need to restore and protect peatlands. These ecosystems have long proven to be carbon mega stores and a refuge to a multitude of endangered species. So on a daily basis, we get our hands dirty - rewetting, monitoring, evaluating... in short doing our best to ensure peatlands can thrive. This newsletter should present an opportunity to look at our shared progress and celebrate the small and big wins. We know your time is valuable – so this newsletter will be released quarterly, if there are enough updates. Less frequently if we consider that we have too little to say or celebrate.
